You may have noticed small black (or white) spots on your driveway or patio.
This is an organism called lichen which thrives on porous surfaces and seems to be very fond of sandstone, block paving and several other types of stone.
Power washing alone will not remove lichen. As part of the cleaning process we use a special product to remove the lichen. Once the area is clear of lichen, we recommend sealing it with a high quality sealer to prevent return of black/white spots.
